From 2027 Australian institutions can lead consortia and receive EU funding directly as an Associated Country.

Eligibility
Minimum 3 independent legal entities from 3 different EU Member States or Associated Countries. From 1 January 2027 Australia is an Associated Country for Pillar II, so Australian universities, MRIs, CSIRO and businesses can be direct beneficiaries and coordinate consortia. Pillar I (ERC, MSCA) remains third-country for Australia. Check specific call conditions on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.

2.1 Pathways to Impact: ~3 pages; 2.2 Measures to Maximise Impact (dissemination, exploitation, communication): ~3 pages; 2.3 Summary Canvas (optional 1-page table). Within the overall Part B limit (RIA/IA ~45 pages).
