The Impact section of Horizon Europe collaborative proposals: pathways towards impact, measures to maximise impact, and an optional summary canvas. From the 2026-2027 Work Programme experts score only the credibility of the pathways and the quality of the measures, no longer scale and significance.

- At least three independent legal entities in three different Member States or Associated Countries, at least one in an EU Member State. Australia's Pillar II association is due from January 2027 but is not yet on the Portal's country list, and the announcement does not mention health; check the topic page.

- 2.1 Pathways towards impact: about 3 pages; 2.2 Measures to maximise impact: about 3 pages; 2.3 Summary canvas: optional. Page counts are indicative within Part B's 40-page limit (45 for lump sum topics; 10 pages at the first stage).

Europe's leading individual research grants: Starting, Consolidator and Advanced. The proposal is a 5-page Part I, a 7-page Part II and a 4-page CV and track record.
ERC Synergy Grant
Up to €10M over six years for two to four PIs tackling a question none could address alone. The 2027 call moved to February 2027 and uses a 5-page Part I, a 10-page Part II and a 4-page CV per PI, with a three-step evaluation ending in an interview of all PIs.
MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships
Mobility fellowship for postdoctoral researchers: a European Fellowship of 12 to 24 months at a host in the EU or an Associated Country, or a Global Fellowship of 24 to 36 months with an outgoing phase outside Europe and a 12-month return phase. Weighted 50% Excellence, 30% Impact, 20% Implementation.
