From one report to a whole portfolio

Research impact is rarely one person’s story.

A guideline changes because a group spent a decade on the evidence. A company exists because a centre kept one idea alive through several funding rounds.

Until now, ResearchImpact AI worked one researcher at a time. Credits sat in one account. Whoever paid had to run every report, and a group’s impact ended up scattered across separate logins.

Research offices had a different problem: reports that did not follow their own framework, or look like their own documents.

So we built two things.

One shared pool for your group

A Team plan puts your research group or centre on one shared pool of credits.

Colleagues run their own reports: no one pays personally, and no one waits for you.
You see every report: download it, or adapt it for a grant application.
One roll-up for the group: combine up to 30 reports into one workbook with a one-page summary, ready for a centre review or a renewal bid.

Members see only their own reports, and that is deliberate. Groups include PhD students whose drafts are not ready for a room full of colleagues, and a shared budget should not change that.

When someone leaves, their reports stay with the group.

How a Team plan works: members run reports from a shared pool and see their own reports; the owner sees every report and can build a portfolio roll-up.

Reports built your way

Some teams need more than standard reports.

A research office may report against its own impact framework. A centre may need case studies in its funder’s format, or in its own branded template.

That is what the Custom Impact Programme is for, whether you run one centre or a whole institution.

We set it up with you:

Your framework: the analysis looks for the evidence and impact categories your framework uses.
Your template and branding: reports follow your structure and arrive in your own Word template, with your logos.
National and funder frameworks: such as REF 2029 or NHMRC.
Onboarding: we get your team and your researchers started, and stay involved while the first portfolio is built.

A programme can also include a Use Case Finder, which runs fast checks across your researchers to show which projects deserve a full case study, and a portfolio dashboard across every case.
